Women Empowerment
Women Empowerment activities are implemented in drought affected Villages located in Narasaraopet Revenue Sub division of Palnadu District.
The following activities are implemented;
- Organizing Capacity Building sessions for the integrated development of Women in the target Villages which are impacted by endemic drought situations.
- Supporting families to undertake income generation activities with the cooperation of local Mandal authorities under DWACRA for the sustainable development of target groups.
- Awareness generation and providing Information on referral services and helping in accessing Government welfare measures under entitlements.
- Supporting Women in increasing the organizational strength and participation levels of the Women in Community Based Organizations (CBOs).
- Helping families (providing counseling services) at times of conflicts, especially during domestic violence aspects.
